At Herstad Performance we are making recycled ammunition by reusing one time fired casings and reloading them with new components from some of the best companies in the world. We only use the very best primers, gunpowder and bullets. Compromise is not an option.Why do we do it? Well It is a way to reduce waste and cost while still ensuring safe and effective ammunition. In the process we make a product that is optimized for sports shooting, because when you have a powerfactor (PF) of 140-150 in a standard handgun ammunition, that is 15-20 more than you need, and here you will get an sport optimized round of 130 PF for minor or 165 (OPEN) 175 (STD) PF for major ammunition. We do it like no one else does, and we do it to perfection. From the time we pick up and collect the casings from the range, till we have the finished product ready for sale, there is a long way. But we don't skip corners and get recycled ammunition to the perfect condition.Everything is washed, dried, rollsized, washed again, and dried once more to get the perfect casing for reloading new rounds.After loading everything is chamber checked and polished.
